My favorite thing about being a designer is the occasional opportunity to create a new identity from scratch. Whether it's a start-up or a corporation looking for a facelift, there's no greater responsibility than having creative control of an entire company's materials. Most of my experience in total identification design has been with smaller companies, but I have a few big boys under my belt as well.
I first started to understand the full range of corporate design when the web was born. I realized that I could bring my ideas from the print world over to a purely on-demand media format. My experience with id design stretches from print materials of all kinds, to online media and cd-based interactive materials, to trade show booths and even actual trade shows.
